Student Council
The Student Council provides students in grades 3-6 an opportunity to participate in and practice leadership and responsible decision making. They are nominated by their peers to be on the Student Council. Sixth grade students are elected officers.
Council members may participate in the organization and operation of a variety of activities such as a canned food drive for the needy; juice bar sales, the profit from which is used for sixth grade graduation and other Council approved projects.
Parents of Student Council members will be asked to volunteer some time to assist with their projects and functions. Individual classrooms may present issues for discussion or consideration through their classroom representative.
